vegaquarian

I’m no longer pescatarian. Flexitarianism is so last week. From here on in, I am a vegaquarian. Heard this term today from a fellow vegetarian who makes exceptions for fish and seafood. I only recently expanded my seafood palate beyond tuna sandwiches, but being in Sydney, I can’t resist the cliche desire to throw another shrimp on the barbie (except that they call them prawns, which always makes me think of District 9). Seafood laksa, barramundi & chips, sugar cane prawns, it’s all SO good here.

But my absolute favourite is salt & pepper calamari with a squirt of lemon. I’m getting dangerously addicted. Here’s the first plate of it I had, at the Crave Night Noodle Market  in Hyde Park the first week I got here.
