For the Seventh Generation (via Teach ’em Good)
Here’s my post from Teach ’em Good about the end of the permaculture youth program I’ve been working with out here in Byron Bay…featuring two videos of me performing a spoken word piece that I wrote for the occasion!
@gdaytoronto is back!!! Funny how every time my life is in a major point of transition, I end up facilitating a rite of passage. This time, just as @shecosystem closes, @gdayforgirls will be revving up for our big event on October 14. This national charitable organization, founded by my friend and mentor Madeleine Shaw, has meant a lot to me since I started working with them in 2014 and I am so proud to be working with an incredible committee of volunteers to bring this day of magic for 10-12 year old girls back to Toronto this fall at the Toronto Reference Library. Want go get involved? We're looking for presenters, partners, donors, and more! Check our feed for all the info & links!
