Live vicariously through me!

When I left for a year abroad in Paris at 18, my dad told me, “Dance all night & smell the roses.” I’ve kept his advice pretty well since then. Born and raised in downtown Toronto, I have been bouncing around this planet collecting memories, skills and friends – from trekking in the Himalayas to managing a national education program in Washington DC.

I am an educator and a lifelong learner. I’ve taught in schools, museums and done curriculum design and program facilitation for not for profit organizations. My specialties are global citizenship education and the teaching of controversial issues. I am a certified Permaculture Designer and am committed to working with youth to create positive and holistic solutions to local and global issues.

Whether I’m on the road or at home in Toronto, I always try to keep the travel spirit alive. I blog about art, food, design, urban culture, and whatever else makes me think, “So and so would LOVE this!”

I also blog about education at Teach ’em Good and tweet @teachemgood
